Join us in welcoming Shelly Faulk, our new Director of Training and Development!

Join us in welcoming Shelly Faulk, our new Director of Training and Development. Director Faulk comes to our office with over 20 years of prosecutorial experience, handling both felony and misdemeanor cases throughout Georgia.

Director Faulk hopes to use her extensive experience in and out of the courtroom to educate attorneys at all levels in how to achieve optimal results both in and out of the courtroom. Utilizing both lectures as well as hands-on techniques, such as Mock Trial, Director Faulk will ensure that the Assistant Solicitors stay up to date on the law techniques that produce the best results in court. Upcoming topics will include Opening Statements, Objections, and Motions Practice. Director Faulk will also be coordinating with outside agencies to hold interdisciplinary trainings designed to educate and coordinate members from across the law enforcement community.  In January, our office hosted a Family Violence Interdisciplinary Training in partnership with the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council of Georgia (PAC), bringing together members of law enforcement from across Gwinnett County. Based on the success of that training, we will be hosting PAC again on April 8th and 9th for an intensive 2-day DUI Training at the Gwinnett County Police Department Training Center, designed to increase attorney and officer proficiency in navigating the ever-changing DUI law landscape.
