On April 8 and Thursday, April 9, the Gwinnett Solicitor General’s Office partnered with the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia to host a two-day impaired driving training.

The training brought together law enforcement officers and prosecutors to enhance DUI enforcement and prosecution across Gwinnett County. Participants covered topics including Georgia DUI law and detection phases, case law updates, implied consent and search warrants, cannabis impairment, and cross-examination strategies, along with hands-on practical exercises.
