Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Throughout February, the Gwinnett County Solicitor General’s Office actively engaged the community in raising awareness about teen dating violence through a series of impactful events.

Eye on Gwinnett’s Deborah Tuff kicked off the month with a featured interview with our Director of Victim Services, Sheryl Harris. In the discussion, Harris provided valuable insights into the causes and effects of teen dating violence while highlighting available resources to address this critical issue.

Our Victim Witness Unit participated in a tabling event at the GJAC Atrium, offering relevant information and distributing educational materials to teens and concerned adults. Meaningful giveaways were also provided to help empower young people with the knowledge needed to foster healthy relationships.
