A Message From Solicitor-General Bristol

I’d like to personally welcome you to the official website of the Gwinnett County Solicitor-General’s Office.

I am honored to serve as your Solicitor-General here in Gwinnett County, the second-largest county in the state of Georgia and the most culturally diverse in the region.

As your Solicitor-General, I am responsible for a team of more than 100 people who, at the heart of it all, are passionate about the safety of you, our Gwinnett County residents.

The Solicitor-General’s Office is made up of attorneys, investigators, victim-witness advocates, administrative assistants, support staff, and others who undergo training and learning to make it possible to serve such a large and diverse community. Our team is responsible for prosecuting cases in State Court and Recorder’s (Traffic) Court for Gwinnett County. We handle misdemeanor crimes, traffic offenses, and violations of county ordinances.

It is important that this dynamic team is integrated into the community we serve. Part of our mission is to ensure that the office provides relevant information to our community and actively engages with our residents.

It is my hope that this website will serve as a useful source of information, whether you’re looking to learn more about how cases move through the criminal justice system, what the members of my team do, how we serve the community, or where you can seek resources.
